” The Female Engineer of the Year 2023″ Award in Serbia

A collaborative initiative led by the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Siemens Serbia, and the association “The Female Engineer of the Year” has culminated in the selection of 10 finalists for the prestigious title of “The Female Engineer of the Year.” The winner, to be announced in June, is set to become the embodiment of engineering excellence for 2023 in Serbia.

Among the commendable finalists, we proudly present our colleague, Tijana Jović, Technical Support Engineer at INDAS Automation. Tijana has secured her place among the elite 10 contenders for the coveted “The Female Engineer of the Year” award.

This event marks a significant milestone as the first edition of a broader endeavor aimed at spotlighting accomplished female engineers from diverse companies and institutions. These remarkable women, through their character and contributions, stand as potential role models and inspirations for young women at the juncture of choosing their future professions.

The selection of these 10 finalists not only bestows upon them an ambassadorial role within this project but also furthers the promotion of engineering within society. It catalyzes nurturing prospective careers in engineering among the next generation of female professionals.

As the engineering landscape continues to evolve, initiatives like these are essential in fostering gender diversity and empowering women to thrive in traditionally male-dominated fields. The upcoming announcement of the “The Female Engineer of the Year” winner will undoubtedly shine a light on the remarkable achievements and aspirations of women in the engineering realm.
