  • The needs of client to maintain and improve the quality of water in Lake Bileća, so that it can fulfil its purposes such as water supply, irrigation, fishing, tourism…
  • Implementation of a management and control system for technological equipment for primary, secondary, and tertiary wastewater treatment, which is fully in line with the requirements defined in the technological project for the “SBR” type of water treatment plant
  • The need for the control system to be safe, reliable, flexible, easy to operate and to allow easy change of plant operating parameters


  • Design of electric distribution and automatic control systems for wastewater treatment plants, especially considering the technological requirements, logical and functional division of technological units of wastewater treatment, and the location of equipment with regard to the location of aggressive gases
  • Installation of a system based on programmable logic controllers manufactured by SIEMENS, type S7-300 and SIEMENS WINCC SCADA system software
  • Development of application PLC and SCADA software in accordance with the needs of the technological process of wastewater treatment plant type “SBR” with special emphasis on the flexibility of the system and its immunity to problems that may occur during operation
  • Commissioning of the system
